Yes, they will not fight, but they will breed and can have anywhere from 1-100 babies so if you want to breed them it is good and if you dont then it is not such a good idea. They will not harm each other Answer You shouldn't put any fish in a fish bowl unless you want to torture them! Give them a real aquarium. Most guppy aquariums are at least 5-10 gallons that's what i would consider. Hope this helps.
The shape of the bowl, or aquarium, is not important. What is important is that it be equipped as a tropical fish habitat, with heater, aerator, thermometer, etc. If you do not have these things, then no, you cannot have a guppy in a fish bowl. It will have a very short lifespan if you try it.
Fish bowls are not suitable for keeping any kind or quantity of fish in. They are a relic of the 17th and 18th century when people used them in ignorance. We are supposed to know better now. If you wish to keep fish, read and follow the basic rules. The rules are. :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water but more is better. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs at least 50% of its water replaced every week.Follow the rules and you stand a chance of keeping fish successfully. Miss out on any of them, and I can guarantee that your fish will have constant health problems.
Yes, male guppies can live with females, its just if you don't mind getting a ton of babies. but occasionally the females might nip at his tail. that's rare the male will sometimes damage there tails yes but its not the females its the when the males are chasing the females they sometimes get clumsy so they get splits in there tails, but this can also be a sing of diseases in your tank so watch out.
Simple answer is yes you can. re: but the thing is that ur male guppy has a "need" and if ur female guppy doesnt give it to him, he s gonna keep on bothering, in the end ur female guppy will will bite ur male guppy, so i suggest 2 to 3 females per male. The advice given above is correct. BUT ONLY if your tank/fish container is large enough to hold that amount of fish. Remember the basic rule is 1" of fish needs 1Gal of water.
i would doing it woune last that long at all it less you have a boll
Yes, you can. I have found that they have less fries when in a bowl instead of an aquarium, however.
The simple answer is YES.
YES...I HAD A PAIR OF REDSWORDTAILS AND A PAIR OF GUPPIES. MY FEMALE SWORDTAIL DIED...THEN MY MALE GUPPY DIED...LEAVING ONLY MY TWO FISH. IT WASN'T LONG UNTIL MY GUPPY HAD BABIES...AND THEY WERE RED, BUT I DIDN'T GET THEM SEPERATED IN TIME...THEY WERE EATEN. I DIDN'T TRY AFTER THAT TO BREED THEM. THEY SOON DIED AND I DIDN'T GET MORE FISH.
Guppies live up to 4 years old and when they die they do not float they sink down to the bottom of the tank
Its hard to keep any fish with Convict.Especially with a breeding pair of convicts.Maybe another species of armored catfish like many species of doradids or talking catfish as they are called.
They should be OK together if they are about the same size and you have a large tank (Over 50gals) set up. If you have a pair of Oscars and they decide to breed you will have to remove all other fish.

Considering the general, mostly mellow, nature of guppies, yes the Turquoise guppy is mildly more aggressive. If you have a pair of them they are fine. It's when you have just have one amongst a variety of fancy guppies, that they occasionally will become aggressive. In general, Turquoise guppies tend to be loners, and don't frolic around most of the time like other fancy guppy species.
