if a person is getting 2 kidneys implanted, that means it is obvious that his previous kidneys [which were there from birth] were removed due to some disease wherein kidney fails to work. doctors never implant kidney if your own kidney is normal. Human anatomy is very perfect, there is no place for extra organs unles previous organ is removed due to some reason.
