Patients who have allergic reactions to aspirin should not be treated with NSAIDs
You may not be allergic to all the NSAIDs or non steroidal inti-inflammatory drugs. You can take the tizanidine. It is muscle relaxant drug.
No. They have similar effects on the bowel but work in very different ways and and are not chemically related. You may be allergic to both but this would be a coincidence rather than a causal relationship. Mike RGN ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately, I am allergic to Codeine, and am unable to take: Imodium, Morphine, Vicodin, Oxycodone, or anything similar. Imodium makes everything 100 times worse: the diarrhea, stomach cramps, then add vomiting. The only thing I can take for pain is Demerol, because it is 100% synthetic, so be careful with Imodium even though it's over the counter. I assume everyone is different. Ree Medical Office Manager
Can I take coumadin and immodium at the same time
can i take clindamycin if im allergic to ceclor
There are different types of anti-infammatory medications. There are steroids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs). Cortisone is a steroid. Ibuprofen and Naproxen are types of NSAIDs. You need to know exactly what type of anti-inflammatory medication you are allergic to.
Sulfate is not same as sulfa drugs. So person allergic to sulfa drugs can take barium sulfate.
Yes.
Yes you can....I have used Imodium at high doses while getting off percs. I did happen to go on a bender one night while doing the Imodium detox and was perfectly fine.
No, you shouldn't. Both are NSAIDS ( non-steroidal anti-inflammoratories) and taken together will increase risk of bleeding ulcers and can be hard on your liver.
