No. Have you seen the bee movie, it is all about pollen and how the bees save the flowers again, it's really childish but good. Flowers do not need pollen to sustain themselves, but they need it to reproduce and make more flowers. The flower is the reproductive part of the plant.

plants have two categories , vascular and non vascular , which simply means one has tubes and one doesn't . if we go down the vascular side of the family we will find the angiosperm (plants that grow flowers) and geosperm (plants that produce other plants by there seeds instead of flowers). well , angiosperm , as you might now know are the only plants that produce flowers, but there are still many different plants out there that live with out flowers and produce other plants by using different strategies. So, to answer you question simply , plants can live without flowers. i hope my answer satisfies your needs
