Why doesn't my radio for infinity 2001 work?

Because something's wrong with it. Without a chance to actually look at it and diagnose it, we have no way of answering this definitively. Either there's an issue with the power supply, the head unit, or the speakers.

Why does my radio work only when lights are turned on?

the radio is wired to the headlight power supply wire, that's why it will only come on when you turn on the headlights. my buddy did this to his truck in the best buy parking lot when it was getting dark out.

While working on my power window switch there was a short and now the windows and radio do not work. What could be the problem Not getting power to either the relay fuse or the radio fuse either.?

You probably melted a fusable link . Check by the battery or on the firewall . It will be a wire with a melted spot by where it bolts to the power supply

An amp with no power supply? No. Can't be done. An amplifier increases the current of the input signal, and to do so it needs power to do it with.

How do you disconnect the battery on your Chevy S10 without locking up my radio to where it wont work?

Plug a booster pack or car charger with a power point adapter into the power point (cigarette lighter) of you vehicle before disconnecting the battery. This will keep power to your radio and security system. The bonus is it will even save you radio presets.

How can you remove the dashboard on a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport without the airbags going off?

Disconnect the battery. Warning: If you disconnect the battery for an extended period of time, the radio will not work and you will need to enter a security code to get the radio to work again. The dealership will charge you $$ to supply you with the security code.

If you made a 14V 150mA solar charger for your cigarette lighter why would the radio turn on when plugged in with no ignition movement?

The radio shares the same power as the cigar lighter. When car is off neither work. Putting power into the plug fires up the radio. This means that using a solar panel to keep the battery up will not work on this car w/o putting the lighter power feed onto a battery supply fuse at the fuse panel.

How does radio controlled airplane work?

Radio controlled airplanes need four main ingredients to work. A power supply, usually a power battery pack or just batteries. You will also need to hold a transmitter that sends the information waves to the antenna or reciever on the plane. This sends the signal to the motor, wheels and propeller for turning, steering and operating your plane.
