Long answer eventually all relationships pretty much have to end or enter into a sexual relationship. I'm guessing you are asking because you want to know if its possible to continue on with a relationship while not having sex until you are ready to take the next step. You should never have sex unless you are absolutely ready. But if you are asking can a relationship survive indefinitely without sex, you are absolutely mistaken.

Some people identify as Asexual; they don't feel driven to have sexual intercourse. Those people have perfectly healthy, functional relationships within the guidelines you've described. If they can, so can you, for whatever reason you want a nonsexual relationship.
