Just like any other animal species, there is no exact answer regarding how fast a Rottweiler runs. That being said, the average healthy adult Rottweiler can run between 20-25 mph.

You may run while pregnant; staying active is beneficial during pregnancies. But, you may need to run at a slower pace if you can't handle the usual workout.
Well what I do with my 10 month old Rottweiler King I run with him and after that I tie him up and feed him. That way the food digest slow and help repair muscles with a high protein dog food... I also run with him up and down hills...
Most definitly, I am totally blind and have had a German Rottweiler for my guide dog for 8 years, he is highly intelligent, and very easily trained to accomplish whatever i need done, i also have had problems with falling and being unstable, and if i feel the need to fall down, he is strong enough to catch me. The biggest problem i have run into is that rottweilers have gotten a BAD RAP from television, people preceive that all rottweilers are vicious animals, this is a very big farce! Rottweilers are very gentle dogs, loving, caring, protective and loyal dogs. I personnaly chose a rottweiler for two reasons, one being his intelligence, two being, i have been robbed twice because of my blindness, and my rottweiler looks intiminating, but really is not! Thus, no-one bothers me when he is with me. Everyone that knows my rottweiler loves him,and he loves people. I would most definitly recommend a rottweiler as a service animal chose.
