Yes, a sinus infection can cause an ear ache. The fluids that drains off of your sinus can infect the ear, also cause you dizziness or the feeling of being off balance.
Most likely it is a sinus infection. You will need to call your doctor and possibly get some anti-biotic. Also while your there they can probably run some tests to ensure that it is in fact a sinus infection and nothing more serious. Your body could probably fight it off on its own but the doctor is the best route to take.
I think the chronic cough makes your diaphragm press on your bladder causing you to feel like you might need to urinate. Which in turn makes you squeeze whatever muscle that helps you hold your urine in because you don't want to urinate in your pants and that can cause a UTI. I just came home from the ER and I had a sinus infection for almost 3 weeks and I just found out I have a severe UTI that lead to a Kidney Infection. But keep in mind I have a weakened immune system because I have diabetes so my body can't fight off infection that good.
