If you lied to them and said that there was nothing wrong, but the vehicle had major damage that was repaired, they may be albe to. They have the burden of proof. If this is happening, more than likely who ever has the vehicle now has found something out that was not disclosed to them by the dealership. The dealership is trying to pass it off on you. They can only pass on the information that was provided to them via you or Carfax. Carfax is not 100% reliable, especially if any damage was never reported.
