I own one of his (her) paintings. It was passed down in my mother's family. It's a lovely watercolor of a country scene. So, yes, I've heard of this artist and know his work (on the basis of one painting). Beyond that, I can't help.

Reproduce them into notecards. Bundle them with envelopes and be sure to put a short artists statement and information on the backside. Sell them to local shops as work by a "local artist" (You can keep your original artwork to sell at another time)
