Yes, according to an agreement reached between the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and the Coptic Orthodox Church in 2001. Actually, prior to this agreement, a Greek Orthodox person could still have married a Coptic Orthodox person, but for the marriage to be recognized by both Churches it would have had to be performed twice (once in each Church). The agreement obligates each Church to recognize the validity of a marriage performed in the other Church.

Maybe, this is known as a "mixed marriage", when one party has been baptized in the Catholic Church, and the other is baptized outside the Catholic Church. It is forbidden by Canon 1124 without the express permission of the competent authority. Canon 1125 stipulates that the local Ordinary (the bishop) can grant this permission if there is a just and reasonable cause, and 1) the Catholic party declares that he or she is prepared to remove any dangers of falling away from the faith and makes a sincere promise to all in his or her power to have all the children baptized and brought up in the Catholic Church; 2) the other party is to be informed of these promises and is truly aware of the promise and obligation of the Catholic party. Also, 3) Both parties must be instructed on the essential ends and properties of marriage, which are not be excluded by either party.

Unfortunately not, as the Eastern Orthodox Church (which includes Greek Orthodox) is not in communion with the Coptic Church for now. The Coptic Church is part of the 'Oriental Orthodox' or 'Non-Chalcedonian' group of Churches. There were moves in recent years to unite the various groups, but this has not happened yet.

What is a coptic?

A Coptic Christian is a person who belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church. Coptic means Egyptian in the Coptic language (Evolved language from the Ancient Egytpian language). However since the Islamic/Arab conquest of Egypt, it refers to Christians, namely the Eastern 'Oriental' Orthodox sect. The Coptic Orthodox church was founded by St.Mark and belongs to the Eastern 'Oriental' Orthodox church, not the Eastern Orthodox, because of a schism, heresy or misunderstanding between definitons on the nature of Christ. The Coptic Orthodox church is headed by the Pope and Patriarch of all Alexandria, Pope Shenouda the Third. Note the word Pope was used by the Coptic church before the Catholic Pope asserted primacy, hence the title of Bishop of Rome. However it is not used in the same way as the Roman Catholics do, which means authority, but as the word 'father' in latin, while Patriarch is 'father' in Greek. If you know nothing about Coptic Christians you may know that the Nicene Creed was written by one of its fathers. Rosary beads and Monastacism originated from one of its saints and most of the martyrs in Christianity were Coptic just to give an idea to other sects that may not be familiar.

What are the main differences between Coptic Orthodox and Baptist?

Many.Ill explain the history of the church briefly. There was one church called "The Catholic Orthodox Church".It consisted of the Roman church ( found by st.peter),the Greek church (founded by st.andrew),The Coptic church (founded by st.mark),The church of Antioch (not sure founded by who) and The church of Jeruslem (not sure founded by who). It split into Catholic and Orthodox.Catholic "west" and Orthodox "east'.However the Coptic church belongs to the Eastern "Oriental' Orthodox church while the Greek church belongs to the Eastern Orthodox church, they are the same but have a different view on the divinty of christ. The Coptic church believes christ has two natures but united while the Greek church beleives christ has two natures but seperate. After that The western church - the Catholic church had many splits these churches are called Protestant churches which consists of anglicans, baptists and so on. The differences are many, too long to list
