Usually doctors will tell us to wait about 6 weeks before starting a work out plan. If you had a normal delivery with no complications and you had been working out during the pregnancy, 1 month should be OK to start a program. But for safety sake check with your doctor.

If you are breast feeding be sure and keep up an adequate calorie intake and drink lots of water before during and after the work out.
