No. Wombats cannot kill people.

The only way a death would be likely to result from a wombat would be if the driver of a car swerved to avoid hitting a wombat crossing the road, and instead hit a tree.

well it depends on it cause if the rabbit fights back theres a possibility that it would not get eaten a when it fights back it might be able to win but if it does not and dies it might just get eaten by it.

Sure. Get one angry enough and eventually it will try to bite or scratch you.

For the most part, the wombat is an inoffensive creature which will not attack, but they can become defensive of their territory. The most common injuries are the result of human incursion into wombat territory. Wombats will bite, and cause considerable damage, as wombat teeth are very sharp and can easily go through a person's boots.

Further, if a person were to try and put his/her hand into a wombat burrow, the animal is likely to crush the person's hand against the roof of the burrow by the wombat raising itself up and using its powerful rump.

No. Wombats are protected under Australian legislation that covers native wildlife. They may not be owned as pets throughout most of Australia, and certainly not overseas. The concept that many Australians own pet wombats is simply not true.
