Helicopter blades are designed to take a 23mm High-Explosive round but it may not fly as fast(vibration can damage transmisssion) or take more than a few rounds. Fuel tanks are designed to take a bullet and not explode or leak too much fuel but multiple rounds will definitely do damage.
