Yes as a matter of fact they do. I have had my toad for 2 years now and i recently got a long-tailed lizard and they get along well.. at first they didn't know what to do but they soon became fond of each other and they even play sometimes.. it all depends on the type of lizard and the type of toad. But they have the same environment and eat the same food.
I think lizards mostly use rocks as shelters, but it depends on where it is, what environment it is in, what kind of lizard it is, and all of that kind of stuff.
