You don't get paid to be a volunteer. As for working you would have to talk to HR at the ZOO and ask them about that some states you have to be over 14 to be employed. It could also be unsafe to work at a zoo in such a small age.
In most states, if not all, you have to be at least 14 ~ 16 for a company to be able to legally hire you, and if you're 14 to 15, you can typically only get a job in a VERY basic area (i.e. sign twirling). Specifically in zoos, though, the people who are hired to actually take care of the animals are required to have diplomas in zoology/etc. in order to be able to not only safely, but accurately, handle the animals. If you're talking about small vending stores in a zoo, though, you have a possibility of being hired, but most retail positions require you to be 16 or older.
I dont think you can work at the zoo at age 11. Recently, my teacher gave us a hand out on summer volunteer at the philadelphia zoo and it said you have to be 14+.
In order to work at the Bronx Zoo or the Central Park Zoo, you must be at least 18 years old. You also must be 18 or older to be a volunteer at the zoos.
It depends on where you live and what kind of animals you want to work with If you live near a zoo you can volunteer there or at a vet place if you are 16 you can work as an a assistant at a vets place
In most states 12 year olds cannot get paid if they work at a zoo due to labor laws. You may however be able to get a work permit if you meet the criteria.
It depends what zoo you work at. You should go to there website. You could probably find out there
Volunteer to work at a zoo that has penguins. They would not be legal to have as pets. You would not be able to properly care for them.
I volunteer at a zoo. You can get to be a zoo keeper, matience people, food area, education, special events, office work, memberships, gift shop and so many more. Just call your local zoo to find out what they offer.
The number of zoo keepers in a zoo depends on how many animals there are and how much care the animals need. Often the zoo staff is supplemented by a volunteer staff.
13-18 Years old

Depends at which zoo you work at and what your position is.

i do not think so. you have to be thirteen to work at a horse farm so an eleven year old could probably not work with larger and more dangerous animals. I think you would probably have to be at least eighteen to work with such large, dangerous animals.
Well, that depends which Moshling Zoo you mean. The Nintendo DS game "Moshling Zoo" recently came out but if you mean online, then, the Moshling Zoo has always been there for paid members!
No. Only paid Moshi Members have access to their Moshling Zoo on Moshi Monsters.
