absolutely. you may need to fabricate a oilpan to clear the steering linkage. but its definatly possible. parts also needed to do this swap are NOT limited too: custom motor mounts. custom transmission mounts. custom driveshaft. custom exhaust and intake. upgraded fuel pump, and fuel lines*. (because stock ones bottle neck the fuel in MOST cases) stand alone fuel management. (because your stock computer won't be able to talk to, nor handle the RB) _________________ oh yeah, basic maintence.. be sure to pick up some RB oil filters (at least 4) because you won't be able to find 'em at autozone. and if i were you, id do a strip down rebuild to make sure its at least reliable, even before i think about turning up the boost. id be really nice to the engine and know the condition of the engine before mashing on it. so you avoid grenading a 20,000 dollar project. save up 20k and do this... if you still want too.

Yes it will definitely fit since it is the same motor in the 89. The Z31 model was from 1984 to 1989. The Z32 model (2nd gen 300zx) was from 1990 to 1996. (barbie car commercial)
I had an 84 turbo that I had up to 145.
