Not usually. They will place it on the person who was treated at the time. Unless other arrangements had been made (i.e. You asked for them to bill you in c/o (care of) your husband).

I had a credit report run when I was going to buy my new home. I had divorced from my wife. I had a number of reports on my report that where from my exwife one from a department store. I called the department store, I was told to call the creditor to have her credit removed they put a report out on her. I'm still working on the medical. What I have found is the insurance. was in my name Account number being my SS# not her's. The reports are coming accross in my name.
