Can an allergic reaction cause a super high blood pressure 250-150?

I think so because I been having very severe allergic reactions and my blood pressure get super high and then when I use the epi-pen it drops until I go into shock. My allergist argues with me that this not the case but every time I have an allergic reaction, my blood pressure is super high 205/170.
