I figured it out. Sorry. For everyone out there, You can take a .mp3, .wav, etc. file and take it into Quicktime Player and save it as a .mov file and this can be placed into photoshop. Now if this doesn't work, like in my case, if your on a mac simply change the file name from "example.mp3" to "example.mov". Your mac will ask if this is ok, upon saying yes your comp will change the file to .Mov and treat it like one. Still perfectly functional. Hope this helps someone!
