Some background.. Hubby laid off in April after 3 1/2 years. Got a call back in September to come back and work doing same position but only as a contract employee. The company is the one who pays him, he will receive a W2 at the beginning of the year since they are taking all taxes out on him. The company will be shutting down for 2 weeks at Christmas. The company pays for one week plus New Years. As a contract employee he was told that he will not get paid for any time off.
