If you send or receive email on a company computer then it is only wise to assume that the network administrator can read any of them, whether "to", "cc", "bcc" or "from" you.

What does Bcc mean when sending emails?

BCC means Blind Carbon Copy. Any emails addresses you enter into the BCC field will receive a copy of the email; however, this list will be concealed, so the original recipient of your email won't know it was copied to the people in the BCC list.CC means Carbon Copy, if using this field (as opposed to BCC), the recipients will see who else was copied on the email/ message. It means "blind carbon copy".If you are sending to multiple people none of the people will know who else you are sending it to.;)

How do you show only 1 address when sending multiple emails?

Put only one address in the "To" field, and put the others in the "Bcc" field. Bcc stands for Blind Carbon Copy, which means that the recipients can see who was in the "To" field, but they cannot see who else got the message.

How can you keep the difficulties of sending large emails to a minimum?

What does Bcc mean on emails?

Assuming you meant BCC not BBC - It stands for 'Blind Carbon Copy'. It's a method of sending the same email to more than one person - without each recipient knowing who else is getting it. Each person only sees their name on the email.

How can you see Bcc in received email?

You can't see them.... the B in BCC stands for Blind.... the recipients are not able to see who else is receiving the message.

How can you send a bulk email without everyone seeing who gets the email?

Use the "bc" or "bcc" feature otherwise known as blind copy (you have the options of using "to", "cc" (carbon-copy), or bcc (blind copy or blind carbon copy) when sending emails. People will only see that the email was sent to "undisclosed recipients" if you use bc or bcc.

What does BBC in emails mean?

Hi Its not BBc in emails .Its BCc.It means Blind Carbon Copy. The receiver of the email does not know to who else you have sent the email if you put it in BCC. I think you mean Bcc which stands for Blind Carbon Copy. This is how Bcc is used: recipients listed in the Bcc: field will not be seen by any other addressees (those listed in the To: and Cc: fields).

Who can request to see your emails?

Your employer if using a company computer, your parents if you are a minor, and law enforcement officers with a search warrant.

When do you type bcc on a letter?

It means BCC. The people in the BCC list will also receive the email; however, the BCC list is concealed, so people you don't want to see the list can't.

Do those that have been Bcc answer to those that have been sent as addressees in the email?

If an email is sent to a user using 'BCC' that user can see the addresses of other recipients who were not sent as 'BCC'. However, none of those that received the email can see any of the 'BCC' recipients, and thus cannot respond to them.

Advantages of using Bcc over carbon copy?

When sending emails a blind carbon copy (BCC) is an email copy that is forwarded on to someone without leaving any visible traces of that recipient for the normal recipients to see. A carbon copy (CC) will however, show up for the normal recipients. Basically the BCC line showing email addresses that one is forwarding a message to is stripped out of all the outgoing messages.

When referring to emails what does cc and Bcc stands for?

Cc stands for carbon copy. It identifies a person who will receive a copy of the email AND whose name will be revealed to other receipients Bcc stands for blind carbon copy. The person will receive a copy of the email but their name will not be revealed to other receipients
