well lions and cheetahs are the only one's that stay away from water
leopards don't mind water but they stay on dry land most of the time
now tigers and jaguars love water(jaguars use water more than tiger) and they can spends up to hours next and into water. they actually need water more than allot of other animals
all cats can swim though even if they don't like to
There are a number of pictures of tigers swimming in pools; they evidently are quite fond of water. If the weather is hot enough, they will play with ice in their pool.
Most big cats are creatures of the south, and so typically they won't be fond of ice. Wildcats and lynxes, however, do range quite far north. Whether they like ice or not is unknown.
Some do. Tigers especially.
Jaguars swim, too.
Some cats are. Ever heard of that tiger who was able to swim? if you're trying to get your cat to swim, don't do it, unless it absolutely LOVES water, because most cats HATE water.
Yes, but most species of cats do not like water.
Both tigers and jaguars actually enjoy swimming.
the Savannah cat likes water :)
All big cats can swim, although some prefer not to.
certain cats, like fisher cats do, and tigers will swim if they have to.
cats
the only big cat that likes to swim is the tiger!:)
Cats either instinctively know how to swim, or are instinctively afraid of water. You can't teach a cat to swim. Certain breeds such as Abysinnians are known to be fond of water, and might jump into the bathtub with you to paddle around. Many big cats, like tigers, enjoy swimming. Cats swim similarly to the "dog paddle" but their feet don't usually break the surface, making them less splashy and more graceful than dogs swimming. It is also survival instinct. If you fell into water, you would most likely be able to somewhat swim.
few cats actually like to swim/ go in the water. big cats also like to go inthe water. take the tiger for instence, sometimes they go for daily baths. as for why cats don't like water i don't know
All cats can swim
Cats doesn't swim; cats doesn't like water.
Yes, they can.
Cats may not like to swim because they hate water but they do swim. all cats swim. For some cats it comes naturally and learn it from their parents or their care takers and yes this includes some wild animals.
