you can see venus, it looks like a bright star, but you cannot see any detail
Your weight is directly proportional to the mass and gravity of the planet, if the planet has a greater gravity and mass, you will weigh more.
the earths surface is 70% covered by water
The surface gravity on Mars is the weakest, it is 37.6% of Earths.
A comet does. It hits the planet and then basically just fries the surface.-Mountainmmangeetar

The geographical North and South Pole - not the magnetic poles.
Neptune. There is a "Great Dark spot" on Neptune in which you could fit two Earths! However this enormous storm seems to surface and then vanish without warning. This has baffled scientists. Not to mention that the wind speed on Neptune is tremendous.
All planets, both with and without atmospheres, encounter meteoroids. If the planet has an atmosphere then those meteoroids will burn up long before reaching the surface. Those without atmospheres do not have such protection and so the meteoroids strike the surface directly.
Ozone in the atmosphere blocks most of the UV radiation from the Sun... Without it's protection - the planet would overheat.
Beneath the surface of the earth temperature remains the same. Within the Earth, irregular convection cells within the mantle transfer heat from the core to the surface of the planet. Volcanoes and earthquakes are two examples of heat transferring from the interior to the surface.
