CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
If these check good, pump must be replaced.
Fuel lines don't get "stopped up" but fuel filters do. Start with replacing the fuel filter. Then have a fuel pressure test done if you still have problems.
I would suspect fuel delivery problems. Start with replacing the fuel filter. If it still has trouble have a fuel pressure test done to test the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator.
Check and see if you have fuel pressure it might be the fuel pump. Before you replace the fuel pump try replacing the wiring harness first because they have a bad problem burning up. Just got done replacing mine and my brothers.
Your new fuel pump is apparently defective. A fuel pump is required to supply fuel to the engine, and the engine cannot run (and of course not start) without a supply of fuel.
The fuel pressure regulator has one bolt holding it in place.l
Due to its age - MANY possibilities: battery needs re-charge or replacing - spark plugs need replacing - ignition wires need replacing - distributor needs replacing - fuel filter is clogged - fuel pump needs replacing. If you are handy, many of these can be done by you, if not, you will need the services of a mechanic. They ARE durable and long-lived, but the parts don't last forever.
Should be done within 3 hours if all goes well. Recommend also replacing fuel filter.
I would start with replacing the fuel filter if you haven't already done so. Then check the fuel pump.
Yes, the fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel-pump module located inside the fuel tank. The filter cannot be serviced or replaced without replacing the entire fuel pump module.
Try checking the fuel pressure regulator.
the only thing you can do is put a starter fluid in it when it starts keep on the gas and dont let it stall and check water level in the fuel
there isn't one so stop looking Well, actually there is, but it is part of the fuel pump assembly. There is no way to replace the fuel filter without also replacing the fuel pump.
