Yes, a mac can if its running windows, but only the windows operating system will get it not the apple software itself>
Mac does get virus. People lie and say it doesn't. Those are just rumors. Apple products do get virus very often.
I think the latest virus to hit Mac OSX was MACDefender, which was a program posing as an anti-virus for your Mac. Apple has since sent out a security patch and it is no longer a threat.
Apple Computer does not sell or make Anti Virus software. You would have to buy and a Mac compatible Anti-Virus software from a 3rd party and install it on the Mac. You would also have to read the manual to see if the Mac compatible Anti-Virus looks for a Windows version of the Virus.
There are no viruses infecting Mac OS X.
Because its Apple, the little thing that come with mac-book, and the fact that mac-book is almost if not completley virus proof
A mac is another computer. They say they cant get viruses. Mostly this is true, however when Mac's gained in popularity, people, sadly, did create viruses. If you didnt want a virus, Apple is the way to go. It is much more likely to get a virus (trojan, malware, adware, ect.) on a Windows/PC than an Apple. It is possible, but not likely.
There are no viruses that affect a Mac running Mac OS X. Not quite read here: http://www.romow.com/computer-blog/rare-computer-virus-targets-macs-doesnt-infect-pcs/ http://www.dailytech.com/New+Trojan+Virus+Attacks+Mac+Computers+Via+Social+Networking+Sites/article20008.htm
No, not yet. They do get a very low percentage of malware/spy-ware tho. It's rare but does happen. So you should still use a (free) malware/virus program just to be safe. Mac's can still pass on virus's to Windows machines so most Mac Malware programs do search Mac files for Windows Virus executable's.
Yes you can get Minecraft on an Apple Mac.
Because Apple is short for Apple Macintosh. In other words a mac is an apple.
The first Apple Mac appeared in 1984.
Yes. Absolutely. Just look at the increasing number of products available in the Anti-Virus range for Apple. Apple have traditionally had a small market share, so have not been a target for viruses, particularly given those who write the viruses do so for notoriety in many cases. Viruses can be written for any software, including Apple. Apple have been fortunate in the past, but don't be fooled. If you have an Apple, you are open to viruses, malware and hacker attacks. If you don't have virus protection, you are far more at risk than a Windows PC with virus protection.
