Cancer needs a source of sugar to burn to keep diseased cells alive. Instead of oxidizing the sugar via cellular mitochondria, cancer cells ferment the sugar to release energy. If the person is dead long enough, then the cancer will run out of sugar eventually. If some of the diseased cells are accidentally surgically removed for organ transplantation into a recipient patient, that recipient could easily get cancer due to the anti-rejection drugs given to them that prevent that person's immune system from attacking the new organ as though it was a foreign invader. In this case, cancer cells or the underlying chemical toxic causes of cancer could be transplanted and attack that person's body following death of the original patient.
I'm not sure when you asked this question, but yes, she had cancer until her death.(Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:22am) #riptalia <3
The literary term used in the quote "the house was all as still as death" is simile. This is because it directly compares the stillness of the house to death using the word "as". The simile helps create a vivid image in the reader's mind.
She didnt. She is still alive, although in a critical condition following a heart attack on 5th Dec.

Nothing is ghostly about a dead rattlesnake . It is just a dead snake.
yes you may still have brest cancer only if you take care of yourself.
This is debatable in terms of the definition of death! Yes, for a little while until the cancer cells run out of a sugar source. If a person stops breathing for 2 minutes, this is not death if they begin to breath again right afterwards--this near death event will not cure cancer. Whereas normal cells require oxygen, cancer cells do not. Both normal and cancer cells both need sugar nutrients to live. When the circulatory system stops pumping blood via the heart, oxygen and sugar nutrients stop flowing to cells. Sugar already in the cells may be able to maintain the cancerous cell's life longer than normal cells whose oxygen supply is stopped upon the patient stopping breathing. The oxidation of sugar and the fermentation of sugar both produce heat. When the body has been dead long enough, the body temperature will drop rapidly indicating death at the cellular level.
Research is still being conducted on stem cells. They\'re mostly safe, but side effects could include rejection, cancer, or death.
Yes, they are still alive and living in the UK where Garvan grew up. He has three adult siblings. His family remained in Twickenham following his death.
The following cancer center site, http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/12233.cfm, state that a person with Gilbert's Syndrome can still donate blood.

We still don't have a cure for cancer. We do have treatments for it though.
