Yes they can...well at least floor drains. You may ask why I know this and that is simple I was actually googling to find an answer to why there were cave crickets in our basement. So yes they can be and I know this because 5 minutes ago I found over a dozen of them in a drain. Now back to trying to figure out why the hell they are there.

If you have bubbles coming out of your kitchen faucet, you have a venting problem. It has nothing to do with soap in your faucet.
They come from Brazil.
If the sprayer hose screws onto the faucet, you can get a cap for that fitting. If it pushes into the faucet, I do not believe there is any plug available for that type. You have to have something on the hose fitting or water will come out when you turn the faucet on.
We don't know if mice eat crickets or not but you can test it out by putting some crickets where the mice always come and check the next day if they ate it or not

from what source of the cricket does their protein come from. We are in disagreement of the cricket containing meat.
