No. GYN health care providers will tell you that the most common cause of vaginal peeling is related to the use of pads with "Dry Weave" (e.g. Always brand). If you get redness, irritation, and peeling after your period, consider changing brands. If the dry-weave brands don't bother you, there's no need to change.
