New Macs all have the same software installed. If you are referring to Garageband (See links below) then yes both the MacBook and MacBook Pro have it installed.

From the Apple menu icon (top left corner) select About This Mac and the version of Mac OS X installed is shown in the window that opens. The Software Update button will list any available updates to your system's software.
