Here is an easy solution for dry, cracked and bleeding nail cuticles - cut open the end of a vitamin-E capsule and rub the oil into the damaged areas. In a couple of days the cuticles should be healed! Works for cracked finger tips also.

The germ-phobic probably shouldn't read this. If you have a staph infection in any wound, you should go to the doctor immediately. Staph generally doesn't just "get on your hands" unless you work in a hospital or other place where diseases hang out. It's really only dangerous if there's a cut on your hands, but if you think you're wearing disease causing bacteria you should probably just wash your hands. Staphloccocus loves hang nails and unkempt cuticles.

Well there is a couple of ways you can get a hang nail 1. not cutting it properly 2. Trama (Jamming or stubbing toes/fingers) 3 damaged nailbed
You can use drywall nails or drywall screws. I prefer the screws.
You can use regular sized nails or smaller sized since they won't split the wood as much. There are hooks that are designed to hang pictures that might work better than the nails as far as damaging your wall.
When you do nail art on your nails, the whole look is ruined if the nails are jagged and so on. Also, you must remember a basecoat or the nails will be stained until the old ones grow out. hope this helps
