Yes, ibuprofen can be taken in conjunction with Depakote as long as it is an over the counter brand. If it is an ibuprofen that is mixed with a form of narcotic pain medication, it can not be taken with Depakote.

yes you can take depakote while driving. I take depakote for seizures, however if you are diagnosed with epilepsy it is a good idea to not drive for 60 days so the medicine has time do control your condition.

No it is not safe at all. ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO SEE WHAT CAN YOU TAKE WHILE PREGNANT OR TRYING TO GET PREGNANT. I was prescribed Keppra and was fine with it I agree completely. My husband and I saw a specialist to ask about medications while trying to get pregnant and he suggested that Keppra was a good choice; while there are MANY studies that show a huge risk for women taking Depakote during pregnancy and conception.

Yes it was first prescribed for seizures, and later for Bipolar disorder. Answer I have epilepsy and take 2 500mg pills a day. Has helped me but can be used with other epilepsy medications to help improve the loss of seizures. I am also on Lamictal and Keppra.
