When you sit down, the angle of your hips and knees can cause your torso to be in a more upright position compared to when you stand. This positioning can make you appear taller while seated than standing. However, your actual height does not change between sitting and standing.
sit stand
simple: sit stay down hard: paw roll stand
A chair
It's helpful if your dog knows how to sit or lie down. When your dog is sitting or lying, encourage them to stand by acting excited and jump up or making a movement away from them. Them reward them and repeat until they understand what you want them to do. At this point you can start saying the command word as they stand up. If you keep repeating it then soon they will be able to stand on command.
Sit
Just press the dog's back gently and make the dog to sit. After it sits say gently, 'SIT'. You can also say your Dog's name before of after 'SIT'. Allow the dog to stand. Repeat this four to five times, your dog will automatically learn. Dogs are fast learners. But be polite in your words. Remember you are teaching for the first time and make sure that you succeed in your actions. Be clear in your words. Do not over load your dog with too many actions at one time. May be two or three a day is sufficient. You can also have dog biscuit(s) to give him once he does the actions correctly. All the Best!
The opposite position of sit is "stand."

Well, 'suwaru' is the dictionary form for 'sit'. But if you want to tell someone to sit, in a polite way, say "Suwatte kudasai." (Sit please.) To make it impolite, just remove the kudasai. (Sit!)
