TaKe him to the vet. U don't want him to swallow them. That would be an expensive surgery. It's cheaper to take him in and have the vet remove the prickles

∙ 11y agoyes, apparently they can. My rednose female just ate a bright light grafted cactus. I was away for TEN MINUTES, and when i returned all i saw was dirt and flower pot.
