I am not sure about deer bones but I do know I would not recommend any animal bone because I use to give my dog animal bones and now after bringing him to the vet for check-up, they gave him a physical and checked his teeth. come to find out his canine teeth are broken and the root is showing which the vet said is caused from the animal bones. vet said the teeth need to be pulled. 1000.00 estimate on this procedure. As you might know health care on animals seem to be as much or more than humans. Go figure. Anyway in process of saving money for procedure. Pretty expensive animal bones.Huh.
