If you let them have a little lick one time, it won't hurt them. However, it isn't the best thing for them. I definitely would not make a habit of it. Dogs can get cavities, Diabetes, and many other issues like humans. An unhealthy treat on rare occasion isn't the end of the world, but be sure that their overall eating habits are good ones. You may want to consider peanut butter instead of icing. It is a healthier alternative, and most dogs love it.
