Yes they can I have really bad sinus problems and I always get earaches and headaches
If you are troubled by a noise in your ear, the problem does not lie with the nerves behind the ear. Chances are you have tinnitus, which is caused by damage to the cochlea, caused by prolonged exposure to extremely loud sounds. Amplification levels in modern rock concerts are ridiculous.
Sinus infection symptoms include headache and pressure. You may also have ear pain. Most sinus infections are caused by viruses and will go away in 10 days. Many sinus infections are actually migraines- not sinus infections at all!
Probably an infected lymph node. ANOTHER ANSWER It could be caused by a sinus infection. If it does not go away and you still have sinus pressure, you should see a doctor, preferably an ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor for an antibiotic. Sinus infections that are left untreated can lead to worse and more serious problems.
If you have chronic sinus for many months, your sinus infection spreads to eustachian tube. When you have the infection in eustachian tube, then obviously you will get ear pain. For chronic sinus, better you get surgery(Functional Endoscopic sinus surgey).
It is called Tinnitus, a sound in one or both ears such as buzzing or ringing. May be caused by an ear infection, or head injury for example
This is a condition that many people suffer from... there are also many possible causes of this condition. Ussually the cause of this symptom is damage done to the ear... I myself have suffered with this condition (but only in the left ear) since I was 22. The cause of my ringing in the ears (tinnitus) was due to a blow to the head just next to my ear. This caused damage to my ear drum. Other possible means of damaging your ear is by being exposed to an extremely loud noise (such as a gunshot) or even continuous exposure to loud noise (such as listening to music excessively loud on a continuous basis). Another possible cause of tinnitus is sinus congestion. When the sinuses become congested they create pressure. This congestion and pressure affects the ears as they are connected via the eustaschian tube. So if you have sinus congestion this is another possible cause of tinnitus. I've been using sinuswars16 and it has helped me reduce the noise level in my ear but there are other medications available- such as t-gone. SinusWars does also offer remedies to help treat congestion which can alleviate the ringing sound if it is caused by congestion.
Yes, a sinus infection can cause an ear ache. The fluids that drains off of your sinus can infect the ear, also cause you dizziness or the feeling of being off balance.
