The guitars and amps are chosen for specific sounds. Almost any band's guitar player will have several different makes and styles, so as to be able to play different tones and styles of music. Fender, Gibson, Peavey, and lots of others.

A Les Paul can work quite well with a Vox or Fender amp. For example, Neil Young's tone is a combination of an unorthodox Les Paul (P-90 pickups, Bigsby vibrato) and an unorthodox Fender Deluxe amp. The fact is, the "tried and true" combinations may suit you well, or they may not. Quality products can combine in surprising ways. For example, I prefer Fender guitars through Marshall amps, but Gibson guitars through Fender amps. Strange, but it suits my style.

Unfortunately, this has caused many people to be "brainwashed" into thinking that Fender is a higher quality. This happens commonly to inexperienced people like, bloggers, amateurs, children and, teens. If you are looking into buying a guitar, don't get a Fender and go with a smarter choice like, Cort.
