Marshall. A Marshall would be a good choice if you want saturated, thick sounds. But Marshalls aren't that great for bluesy, cutting drive (eg. Stevie Ray Vaughan) and clean tones. A Les Paul can work quite well with a Vox or Fender amp. For example, Neil Young's tone is a combination of an unorthodox Les Paul (P-90 pickups, Bigsby vibrato) and an unorthodox Fender Deluxe amp. The fact is, the "tried and true" combinations may suit you well, or they may not. Quality products can combine in surprising ways. For example, I prefer Fender Guitars through Marshall amps, but Gibson guitars through Fender amps. Strange, but it suits my style.
yes
Les Paul thru a Fender Amp
The Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Special Bass Guitar performs great, and coupled with a good amp has a very unique, rich sound.
I know the type of amp that Joe Perry used in most of his music videos with Aerosmith and it was a "Wilson" amp. Oh, and he uses monster cables for his guitars.
Yes, any guitar will work with any amp as long as the both have 1/4" in/output jack. However, you'll have to test it out at your local guitar store to see if you like the tone.
if you are using an Epiphone les paul or Gibson les paul it just depends on what type of music you play. For anything from metal to classic you can use a Line 6 Spider IV but if your only into classic sounds any VOX amp should be good
Which ever one you like.
No, a guitar amp is designed to amplify the signal from a guitar, not a microphone. Using a microphone with a guitar amp can damage both the microphone and the amp.
Totally depends on which amp you use and what song you play :P.
Possibly. In my experience the bass will not work through a guitar amp?
you might need a guitar amp first
The main difference between a guitar amp and a bass amp is that a bass amp is designed to handle the lower frequencies produced by a bass guitar, while a guitar amp is optimized for the higher frequencies of a regular guitar. This means that a bass amp typically has a larger speaker and more power to accurately reproduce the deep tones of a bass guitar.
