Then your fish will eventuatley die but if you put too mush of it in your fish will explode :)

I never move my fish! Fish can die when they are moved as this stresses them. When you clean them even refrain from moving them, empty half the tank with a jug or cup and then fill the rest of the tank with treated tank water.

Gold is an inert metal (not dangerous to fish). You can put it into a fish tank if you choose too.
Why would one use a desalination service provider?
There are many reasons one would need desalination services. If one has a fish tank or aquarium with freshwater fish the fish can die if there is too much salt and would need to have the salt removed.

Make sure that the filter bag that is in your filter is clean. The cause can also b too many fish or over feeding.
