subdirectories, child directories, or folders
anything, even other folders.
You can have both files and folders in other folders. Sometimes they are referred to as sub-folders to indicate that they are inside another one.
A folder is a directory. Folders can be inside other folders, and so can files...
So called sub-folders,there are no limit except your hard drive empty space
There are two types of folders: • Container Folders, which can only hold or contain other folders (sub-folders). They are usually used for organizing the content. • Application Folders, which contain applications such as chat, files, images, calendar, HTML pages, and so on.
A file cannot (in general) contain other files or folders in the traditional sense. A zip or other archive file can contain other files or folders and a document file can have a file in it as an embedded object, but these are special applications.
Depends on how the virus is coded and what its created to target.
In Windows, a folder is basically a container to hold your files. It is similar to folders in real life. In a file box (in this case, a computer) it holds many folders (in this case, folders). But inside the folders, are pictures and doucuments. Same thing on Windows. It can also hold other folders, video, notepad doucuments, Windows Media Player files, and lots of other files of sorts. The purpose of synchronization folder is to share the original folder contents to other folders in remote locations. When changing contents in the sync folder the other folders update as well.
