Yes, but like all foods, give it to them in moderation. Mine do not tend to like walnuts, but others will gobble it up! It is a nice source of protein for a pregnant, nursing, or young gerbil.

You can try. I think they can, but I have never tried. They can eat the inside, but I'm not sure about the shell. Anyway, you should only feed them bagged food as a base, and pistachios as treats.
