The UV light is different to that of fluorescent light. The UV originates from the sun. The latter one does not.No, it is not. UV is different.
UV light can be turned into infrared light u dofus. DANJUIN
the temperature of a UV light is 10nm-400 degrees fahrenheit
yes uv light does kill listeria and does not hurt the food
The basic principle is that UV light is high energy light with shorter wavelength.
Amazon.com. They have a germ scanner disinfectant with UV light that kills germs in literally seconds!
Well, yes. But it's probably not good for you. Think sunburn in your mouth...
Some examples of radiation and UV light include sunlight and ultraviolet light bulbs. Each produce special wavelengths of light which are not seen by the naked eye.
Carotene will fluoresce in UV light, but the "colour" of the fluorescence is infra red and cannot been seen by the human eye.

Yes, UV light and UV rays are the same thing, light emit "rays."
From what I know, UV rays stands for ultraviolet radiation. In nature UV lights can`t be seen, because they`re wave lengths are shorter than visible light. But special florescent light bulbs or black lights do give off long-wave UV radiation that is very close to the violet color of the visible spectrum. So it gives of a blackish/ very dark purplish color. You don`t really feel UV light unless you stay and the sun to long and get sun burnt. So all in all you can`t see UV lights or feel them, but you can see an stretched wavelengths of UV and the side effects of have to much UV light.
you go to a beauty shop and ask for a UV light
It works by killing germs i.e. bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. There are two main types of toothbrush sanitizers for consumers. One type uses UV light to kill germs. The other type, which is more effective, uses steam to kill germs. Given that some germs can make us sick, killing the germs found on the toothbrush therefore sanitizes the toothbrush.
I have a uv filter on my pond pump and it kills bacteria in about a second. . . I have a uv-c light wand and in the directions it says that exposure times should be 10 to 20 seconds it might vary on what you are killing also. I know dust mites takes 20 seconds
There are at least four good reasons not to avoid UV radiation. One of these is when it is used to kill germs. Another use is for "curing". This is what the dentist does when he puts a UV light into your mouth, to cure the bonding material. A third use is to detect counterfeit paper money. You may see a cashier put a bill under a UV lamp to check its authenticity. And the last of the four that I will supply is when they aim a UV light at your hand or arm to check to see if you are allowed to reenter a venue!
