all mammals can become inbred, but the results vary...
yes, the same as there will be for any inbred animal
It is great to have two guinea pigs!!! They are extremely social animals. If they are alone for too long, they can become depressed and lonely.
DO NOT feed a guinea pig when it has a cold. becuase it can become very runny.
A pure line (pure breed) refers to a group of individuals that consistently breed to produce a certain characteristic - and have the same genetic makeup (for those characteristics). For example, Guinea pigs with BB will produce offspring with black fur, these are purebred. However, Guinea pigs with Bb are not purebred (as they could have offspring with black or white fur). Inbred individuals have parents that are closely related, such as brother/sister, or cousins.
No!!!!!!!They are actually part of the rodent family.
No.
They have very good hearing and excellent sight.
Guinea pigs from separate litters that are about three months and younger can be housed together. However, if the guinea pigs are older and from different litters or if one guinea pig is older and from a litter separate from a younger guinea pig, then one or both of the guinea pigs may become stressed or jealous. This can also become dangerous because some guinea pigs may try to fight each other. The two guinea pigs should be placed in separate cages. So that they can become more familiar with each other, maybe they can be placed together in a play area for a few minutes. If one or both of the guinea pigs become stressed or attempts to attack the other one, then they should be placed back in their separate cages until they have time to calm down. It's possible that the older guinea pig will become use to the younger one, but both guinea pigs should be supervised while they're together so that there won't be any problems.
I have three
Guinea pigs were first introduced as domestic pets by traders in the Netherlands in 1670.
Not sure, but guinea pigs aren't type of pigs. They're in the rodents family, and NOT pigs. Hope this helped?
Peruvians cook guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are native there and they are called Cuy.
