Albinoism in hamsters (and in general) is not linked to the sex chromosomes. You can get male and female albino hamsters.
It depends on the albino's breed. If it is also a Roborovski Hamster, then yes. Otherwise, no.
If they are the same breed, then yes.
many kinds of hamsters are: Russian Albino( Albino hamsters can be any breed) Dwarf Robo But if you do some reasearch, you could find soooooooo many more breeds.
the same as regular hamsters!
Yes you can only hunt for albino hamsters
You can breed hamsters as long as they are the same species. Albino just means they can't produce enough of a certain cell to give them colour for their fur and eyes.
A white hamster is either a snow white hamster, or Albino. If its eyes are red, then it is an Albino hamster. Being Albino means that you have a pigment disorder in your body. Albino hamsters do not have any defects that we know of, only the pigments in their body.
look it up.these are the basic kinds:Syrian Hamster - Probably the most common type of hamster, this includes golden hamsters, fancy hamsters, standard hamsters, and teddybear hamsters.Russian Dwarf Hamster - These are divided into two types, the Dwarf Cambells Russian and the Siberian or Dwarf Winter White Russian Hamster.Chinese Hamster - Sometimes referred to as "rat-like" hamsters, this is one of the smallest breeds of hamster, and less common than the Russian Hamsters.Roborovski Hamster - This is the smallest type of hamster and also the least common.
The truth is that there are no true albino hamsters. Sure, they look white but being albino means to have absolutely no colored pigment, and hamsters, no matter how they are bred, always have at least some pigment color. Also, albinos have red eyes, and hamsters never have completely red eyes, only reddish purple or reddish black. So, to answer your question, albinism is not only rare, but so far in scientific exploration, is also proven to be impossible. Sorry!
An albino, and I mean ANY albino of ANY species (not limited to hamsters) WILL have red eyes. If it's eyes were black in the beggining, it's not an albino, just white-furred. I'd reccomend taking it to your vet.
Yes they are albino and no they don`t need special treatment.
