Not permanently, but perms do "fry" your hair if not done properly.

How and when can you straighten your permed hair?

You can straighten it everyday if you want to, it will only come out faster. so, try to straighten it only once or twice a week to keep your permed hair. What's the point of getting a perm, if you are going to straighten it?

Can you straighten permed hair?

yes you can straighten permed hair; however, I suggest that you use a heat protecting spray because your hair is already damaged from the perm. Also I would recommend for you to use a leave in conditioner and once every two-weeks or so maybe every month deep condition your hair! You don't want to damage you hair too much.

What is more damaging straitening curly and frizzy hair after you take a shower every time or getting your hair permed straight?

Straightening your hair everyday after you get out of tha shower is more damaging your hair rahter than jus perming it once and getting it over with, cause it causes less split ends and tha hiar not to get thin! (:

How often should hair be permed?

Well you don't want to get a perm then when it starts to come out perm it again. That causes major damage to your hair. Once you get a perm you can't take it out. It grows out but if you get it done to much you can also lose hair or it will be very crunchy. So if you get a perm wait a month or more until your hair is back to normal. Also use a deep conditioner.

How do you get a permed hair natural again?

Once naturally curly or kinky hair has been chemically straighten with a relaxer or perm you must cut off all of the chemically processed hair. In the Natural Hair community this is called a Big Chop or BC for short. Some people are uncomfortable with the thought of cutting off their hair. So, they grow their natural hair to a length acceptable to them by transitioning from relaxed to natural, using protective styles such as braids, roller sets & other styles that require little to no manipulation.

Once you get dreadlocks can you get them taken out and go back to having normal hair?

Yes you can all you have to do is cut your dreads close to the root and still have hair then go to the barber where he will fix you up

Will your hair damage if you straighten it with a straight perm?

curl perms? i have never heard of that. but what i know is that if u get growth and then cut all the straight permed hair ur natural unpermed hair wont be damaged. and once ur hair is long enough ur could tong ur hair to make it straight. once in a while tonging ur hair is good but not everyday. All kinds of perms cause damage because the hair is treated with chemicals which can make hair more porous and thus can be easily breakable. So yes curling perms will cause damage.

How do you care for permed hair?

Hi there, my partner runs a company called GoodHairDay and has told me this answer to your question. A perm should stay in naturally, if it falls out within a week, go back to the salon and ask for it redone (this should be free) If you shop around, you can purchase certain shampoo's and conditioners that are for 'product hair styles' and 'chemically treated hair' The salon is responsible for informing the customer ways and means of taking care of a perm but the shampoo's work fine. P.S. Make sure you DO condition your hair (leave in for roughly 10 minutes before rinsing) so that the hair doesn't dry out quickly.

I have naturally curly hair. How do I get permanently straight hair without having it chemically straightened?

There is no way to make your hair permanently straight if your hair is naturally curly without using any chemicals. However you can use a relaxer once to straighten your hair but it is a chemical or you can also try keratin treatments.

Was Kate Winslet wearing a wig in Titanic?

No she was not wearing a wig but they put hair extensions in her hair and then dyed it red. She mentioned something once in an article about them having to constantly color her hair because of the harshness of the water chemicals on a daily basis when filming

Can you use perm solution to straighten out an unwanted perm?

I recently did, and it worked to my satisfaction, although I wasn't in persuit of perfectly straight hair. I used the perm soloution and combed it through my hair for the 10 minute processing time, and the result was slightly wavy towards the ends, but no more curls. I was careful to comb my hair in different directions (all to the left, all to the right, back, forward) as it processed so as not to have my hair permed flat to my head. Many years ago they had (and I'm not sure if they still do) hair straightening solution. I used it once, and it made my hair very straight. If you want very straight hair, I would suggest it. I believe it was called 'Curl Free'.

Can you die hair after a hair transplant?

There is no contraindication to the harm for coloring your hair and having a hair dyeing procedure. You can color your hair before your procedure or after once the healing period has passed. ACell+PRP Injections are also unaffected by whether or not you color your hair regularly. Because hair dyes use chemicals to set color into the hair, damage can occur to the hair and it's follicles. The chemical used, including ammonia and peroxide, are abrasive and damaging, and hair can be sensitive. For more information visit at: divinecosmeticsurgery.com.
