In general, heat waves do not have any effect on the biomass of a plant in an experiment. The heated water or water from a microwave also does not affect the plant.

What is the effect of heat on animals?

Depends what animal! * A dog/cat could die with to much heat! * A desert cat might survive with lots of heat! Why don't you tell me exactly what animal it is!

Why not apply heat to animal cells in heat fixing?

Applying heat to animal cells can denature proteins and damage the cell structure. This can lead to inaccurate results in microscopic observation and can disrupt the cell's biological functions. Cold fixation methods are typically used to preserve the integrity of animal cells for accurate analysis.

Does animal cell have chlorophyll?

no. chlorophyll is in plant cells and is used for trapping heat energy from the sun, this makes plants able to support themselves without having to take in another organism for food/energy

What is the function of a cytosol in a plant cell?

The cytoplasm is the cytosol and all the organelles (minus the nucleus) in the cell. Its main function is suspension of the organelles, their nutrients, and products. The cytoplasm function in a plant cell is almost similar to the cytoplasm function in an animal cell.it holds all of the cell organelles, or stuff in the cell, togetherThe cytoplasm acts like the cell s skeleton.it is a jelly like substance around nucleusThe cytoplasms function in a plant cell is to help gel the parts of the cell in place but it is also where many of the cells chemical reactions happen.

How does a large vacuole help a plant cell?

A large vacuole in a plant cell helps in maintaining turgor pressure, which provides structure and support to the cell. It also stores nutrients, wastes, and pigments. Additionally, the vacuole facilitates the regulation of cell pH and detoxification processes.

Why do people need heat?

Heat is important because we need the right amount of it. Temperatures below freezing can damage plant and animal life. Temperatures too high can also kill plant and animal life.
