No, I don't think so. Plastics can be extremely absorbant. For example, have you ever heated a bowl of tomato soup, or marinara sauce, in a clear plastic container in the microwave? What happens? That's right: the clear plastic container turns orange from the soup. The plastic absorbs tiny particles of the soup. So, even if you scrub the Clorox container with soap and water, chances are, some of the chemicals have been absorbed into the plastic. Then the turtles will breathe in and/or ingest these dangerous chemicals.
