While there are apparently fungicidal agents at work in the bee hive and around honeycombs, as shown by the absense of mold within the hive, these are apparently targetted at spores that would prosper in that environment. Athelete's Foot, usually Trichophyton or Epidermophyton fungus, prefers a significantly different environment, e.g. human epidermis.
