Horses can live quite happily with goats, cattle and sheep, and often prefer to have some form of company. My horses constantly have either cattle or sheep in their paddock, and horses have even been known to bond with sheep (my old pony did this; the ram used to sleep under my pony for shelter)
yes they can, but i think they would do better with other horses and same with other animals. horses are very friendly animals in fact, i have one named smokie!!!
